This work analyzes the set of feasible options for improving the management of the European affairs and identifies opportunities for the modernization of the public administration and professionalization of the public service. These are seen as key preconditions for a successul accession to the EU. Assessment is accompanied by a set of short-, mid- and long-term measures which are necessary to be adopted in the public policy in order to consolidate the administrative capacities necessary to successfully enter a new stage of the European integration process. This study aims to evaluate Moldova's administrative capacities from the perspective of the European integration vector, in general, and from that of implementation of the EU-Moldova Actions Plan.
