The economic recovery in the first three quarters of 2011 inspires optimism regarding the Moldovan economy overcoming soon the impact of the economic crisis in 2008-2009. However, the recovery of the output is not paralleled by an improvement in the labor market indicators. In this analysis, we examine this disconnection.
