The general objective: Development of the Civil Society at the local level in the Republic of Moldova  which promotes and monitors the transparency and accountability of public institutions, including the implementation of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.

Activities:

• Grant Program
• Development of studies, mapping of Civil Society Organizations;
• Customized coaching, training, mentoring sessions for grant beneficiaries;
• Organization of three major networking events addressed to Civil Society Organizations at the local level.

Project impact: Civil Society Organizations will be able to implement the principles of Good Governance in their work, will contribute to monitoring the transparency and accountability of public institutions, including the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement.

The Civil Society Development Project at the local level in the Republic of Moldova is implemented in partnership with the Foreign Policy Association (responsible for the Center Region); The Association for Participatory Democracy (South Region), the Expert-Grup Independent Think-Tank (North Region), and the Pro-Europa, European Center in Comrat (Gagauzia and Taraclia).
