The Independent Think-Tank Expert-Grup in partnership with Expert-Forum (Bucharest) will hold public hearings on the subject ”The Role of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline for the energy security of Moldova”. 

The event will take place on February 22, 2019, from 10.00-13.00, in the "Marmură" conference hall of the "Jolly Alon" hotel.

In the framework of the event the gas interconnection project with Romania and the gas pipeline construction on the Ungheni-Chisinau segment will be discussed. Also, the preliminary results of the investigation on crypt currency production in the Transnistrian region will be presented.

The purpose of the hearings is to discuss with the participants the main issues of the energy sector, in particular, the natural gas issue. As a result of the hearings, opinions from the participating actors will be collected, that further will be transformed into ideas and recommendations for the political decision-makers of the Republic of Moldova, Romania and Brussels.
